In the sample package IT service provider (portfolio) the project ERP module financial accounting is fully staffed – as shipped, the answer names no open task. The example therefore withdraws one of the four backend developers in January: Rushton takes over “Migrate and check the legacy stock” in the document management system (13 to 26 January 2027) and drops out of the ERP module.
After that the answer names two tasks with an open balance: “Sprint 3 banking and payroll interfaces” (6 January to 1 February, three of four backend developers, −80 hours) and “Extract and cleanse the legacy data and implement the migration rules” (6 to 26 January, one of two, −120 hours). The candidates are the four backend developers with cost rates of 76 to 80 – none has free capacity: Redmayne and Rothwell are on sprint 3, Sandiford is already assigned, Rushton works on document management; Redmayne is available only 40 % in this period anyway. No candidate from the pool closes the gap, only rescheduling or subcontracting. The three changes are undo steps in the session; nothing is saved.
Why it is useful
The list replaces clicking through every task dialog. Seeing the tasks without a free candidate first tells you where rescheduling or subcontracting becomes necessary. Without balance and schedule conflict from the plan the list would be an address book – who is free is only known after the comparison with the other tasks.How the answer is produced

Limits
Schedule conflicts are detected within the open project only. If the licence function is missing, the tool returns an error instead of an empty list. Nothing is staffed by this prompt.
