Why it is useful

Three months is the horizon in which something can still change: subcontracting, training, postponing. The answer names skill, week and shortfall – enough to decide which lever comes first. Without demand against supply per week, February would be a long list of tasks – the capacity view turns it into missing hours per skill.

How the answer is produced

The AI sets the capacity view to skill, limits the time filter to three months, selects the weekly scale and reads the report. Exactly this view is on screen in Rillsoft Project at the same time.

Limits

Absences are already deducted from supply. A person with two skills counts in both rows but can only work once. Shortfall is a statement about the skill, not about a person. The Rillsoft Project product page describes capacity planning.
